About us
In 1948, the company's founder José de Oliveira Moura e Costa started producing slippers at his parent’s home.
At the beginning of the 60s, in a small factory, began the production of the so called “toillete shoes" with sales to all national territory and archipelagos as well as to the former Portuguese colonies.
In 1967 the company moved its facilities to an area that currently occupies approximately 6000 m2 where it maintains its headquarters. However, over the years the company has been adjusting and modernizing its facilities in order to respond to the demands of the market.
IN THE 70S, SALES WIDENED TO THE EUROPEAN MARKET AS WELL AS TO NORTH AMERICA.
In the 80s it was created the brand "Pontual" with the purpose of giving an identity to the creation and development of women's comfort footwear.
Currently the company is dedicated mainly to the production of women’s comfort footwear although some pilot experiences in male footwear have been done. More recently the company's production has been directed to other brands of recognized quality in the comfort area. The company has about 60 employees and has an average production of about 600 pairs per day.

Products
We create and develop comfortable footwear with all kinds of skins and we are specialists in the deer skin manufacture. Our products are manufactured mainly with PU and TR soles that allow more lightness, comfort and convenience when walking.
We have an experienced team on the production of footwear and a strong and rigorous quality control method.
